The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's bout.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
